According to the NY Times, a Federal Court Judge ordered the “United Utah Party,” a newly created party, to be allowed on the ballot. John Curtis (R), Provo’s mayor won the Republican nomination in a three-way race. The United Utah Party nominated Jim Bennett, son of Former Utah Senator Bob Bennett (R).
The Democratic nominee is Dr. Kathie Allen, a family physician who has been out, meeting constituents and talking real solutions to healthcare. In a three-way race, 34% could win if the 2 Republicans split the vote! You can find out more about her or donate to her campaign at www.drkathieforcongress.com.
