This seems like it might be important...
A Russian lawyer who met with President Donald Trump’s oldest son last year says he indicated that a law targeting Russia could be re-examined if his father won the election and asked her for written evidence that illegal proceeds went to Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
That would be Natalia Veselnitskaya, who met with Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner and the now indicted Paul Manafort at Trump Tower, having offered to provide dirt on Hillary Clinton, for which she says Junior made a very nice offer:
“Looking ahead, if we come to power, we can return to this issue and think what to do about it,’’ Trump Jr. said of the 2012 law, she recalled. “I understand our side may have messed up, but it’ll take a long time to get to the bottom of it,” he added, according to her.
That issue would be the Magnitsky Act, which punishes Russian officials in retaliation for the murder of Russian lawyer Sergei Magnitsky, who had been investigating corruption among leading Russian officials. Veselnitskaya says she went to New York to offer the dirt and lobby against the Act. Junior seems to have been all in.
The Trump Tower meeting was set up by British publicist Rob Goldstone.

“If it’s what you say I love it especially later in the summer,’’ Trump Jr. replied almost immediately.
Veselnitskaya says she was acting in a private capacity, but she had previously shared her talking points with Russian prosecutor general, Yuri Y. Chaika. In other words, she does have credibility issues, but this allegation certainly aligns with the known facts. It certainly needs to be investigated. Veselnitskaya says she's willing to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee, if her answers will be made public. The Committee hasn't agreed to that condition. She also says she's willing to testify before Special Counsel Robert Mueller, if asked. He's been a little busy, but let's hope he asks...
