Apologies in advance for the first source — but they seemed particularity keen on ‘inflating’ Mr Papadopoulos role during Trump’s inevitable march to his Primary win.
David Cameron Must Apologise To Donald Trump, Demands Advisor
by Raheem Kassam, breitbart.com — 4 May 2016
British Prime Minister David Cameron should apologise for his disparaging remarks about Donald Trump – who is now almost certain to become the Republican Presidential candidate after a crushing defeat of his main rival Ted Cruz last night — according to a key Trump campaign advisor.
Mr. Cameron has called the Republican candidate “divisive stupid and wrong” for remarks about restricting Muslim immigration to the United States, something which Trump advisor George Papadopoulos thinks warrants an apology.

Mr Papadopoulos, who forms part of Mr. Trump’s foreign policy team told the Times last night:
“First we need an invitation… Of course if the United Kingdom extended an invitation it would be a tremendous show of unity and a wonderful spectacle. That invitation has not yet been extended… but if it is it would be received in a positive way.”
Here’s a more conventional report of the same “Coffee-boy” incident, way back in May 2016. Trump’s UK envoy would take an ‘extra helping of humble-pie’ with his belated order for a Trump “Foreign Tour” Invitation ...
David Cameron should 'reach out and apologise' to Donald Trump, his adviser says

Mr Papadopoulos, an adviser to the property tycoon and reality TV star, told The Times: "First we need an invitation. Of course if the United Kingdom extended an invitation it would be a tremendous show of unity and a wonderful spectacle.
"That invitation has not yet been extended ... but if it is it would be received in a positive way."
Asked if Mr Trump would forgive Mr Cameron's comments, Mr Papadopoulos told the newspaper: "I can't speak directly for him but it would seem that if Prime Minister Cameron is serious about reaching out, not only to Mr Trump's advisers but to the man himself, an apology or some sort of retraction should happen.
"To see Mr Cameron come out as the most vocal opponent was uncalled for. Considering that we believe that the UK-US relationship should be a cornerstone, not just of Nato policy but elsewhere, it would be wise for him to reach out in a more positive manner to Mr Trump."
And what was the fuss about — that caused the U.K. Prime Minister to speak out against his would-be U.S. counter-part?

Asked at a news conference in London if he [Cameron] should apologize to Trump, given that the Republican could soon be representing the U.S. at trade talks, Cameron first praised his fellow conservative for winning a “grueling” primary campaign. “But what I said about Muslims, I won’t change that view,” Cameron added. “I’m very clear that the policy idea that was put forward was wrong, is wrong, and will remain wrong.”
Days after the mass shooting in San Bernardino in December, Trump called for “a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what the hell is going on.”
That’s some pretty strong “Coffee” that Adviser Papadopoulos was demanding of a key US ally.
And it was just a few months AFTER George “got the coffee” from the Putin crew, regarding Trump’s “open invitation” requests there ...

A footnote in Mr. Papadopoulos’s plea agreement includes a detail that is particularly damning [...]
In March 2016, George Papadopoulos sent an email to seven campaign officials, including Mr. Manafort and the campaign manager at the time, Corey Lewandowski, saying that Russian leadership wanted to meet with the Trump team.
Such a Russian meeting did take place a few months later. Mr Papadopoulos was not Fired in March of 2016 — NO, instead he was tasked with taking the Trump “xenophobic agenda” to the U.K. Prime Minister.
With demands for a “sincere apology” with his order of mocha caffe latte, with extra foam.

Mr. George Papadopoulos was no ‘Lone Operator’.
He was known by Trump personally and named as one of Trump’s key Foreign Policy Advisors, back in March of 2016:
Donald Trump: [...] if you want I can give you some of the names [of my foreign policy team] … Walid Phares, who you probably know, PhD, adviser to the House of Representatives caucus, and counter-terrorism expert; Carter Page, PhD; George Papadopoulos, he’s an energy and oil consultant, excellent guy; the Honorable Joe Schmitz, [former] inspector general at the Department of Defense; [retired] Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg; and I have quite a few more. But that’s a group of some of the people that we are dealing with. We have many other people in different aspects of what we do, but that’s a representative group.
(Since Donald Trump was ‘inflating’ George’s resume there, one might wonder what he had in mind for his Adviser, going forward?)
