Katrina Pierson had some important commentary to inject into the 2012 race in the heat of a CNN debate.
Hey, sometimes we all say things we wished we hadn't, right? But apparently four years hasn’t been quite long enough to provide Pierson with the 20/20 one might hope for, reports Caitlin MacNeal.
On Sunday, CNN's Brian Stelter asked Pierson, "Do you regret that? Would you like to retract that?"
"No, not at all," she responded. "Look, these tweets — I’m an activist, and I am a half-breed. I’m always getting called a half-breed. And on Twitter, when you’re fighting with liberals and even establishment, you go back at them in the same silliness they’re giving you."
"You’re telling me that was just silliness?" Stelter asked in response.
"Absolutely," Pierson replied.
Oh, well that clears it up ... just "silliness." So much for second chances.
