… for help with my house payment. I’d really rather be making stuff, but as long as my income remains limited (note — more people joining my Patreon page would solve that problem!), I’ll need to periodically reach out for help. I am coming up short on the funds to make my house payment for February. As I write this, I need a total of $715 $665 $595 $495 $465 $420 to make the house payment — thanks to the helpers that came in this morning, hopefully by the 12th so I can get it in on time to avoid the late fees.
I also need to ask for one more thing: LuvLee takes a medicine every day to control her IBD issues, and I’ll need to refill the current supply by the 12th also. Each refill lasts about 5-6 weeks but costs $50 at a time, which is a lot for me to come up with. So anything extra to get LuvLee’s medicine would be a big, big help!
As many of you know, I run an arts & crafts business that provides most of my earned income. I have other facets of my creative business that provide a boost when they happen, but it’s usually very few and far between. But … the sales often don’t stretch far enough to keep the roof over my head. Here are the immediate ways to help, along with the long-term solution I would really love to see manifest:
PayPal is burchjan atgmail dotcom (friends and family, please); purchases using PayPal from my Zibbet shop and "coffee" through Ko-Fi will also help.
… and to help solve the long-term problem, please consider supporting my Patreon page — Patreon is like “Act Blue” for artists, and is really the best way of helping now and in the months to come!
Also, fyi my Zibbet shop is where I sell my arts & crafts. My tag line is “I make beautiful things that make people happy” and your support helps me keep on doing that! Using PayPal when you check out with your order will get the funds to me immediately so I can count them towards this goal; other methods can take as long as a week or more. Here’s a sample of my items:
Fyi, for those who want to know How I Got Here: Let me refer you to this diary, wherein I detail the backstory about my precarious financial situation. But the short answer is, I outlived my money… which is not a good feeling. It’s just weird.
As always, my thanks to those who’ve helped and continue to help — even with tips, recs, shares, and good wishes. To be honest, it’s very hard for me to write these pleas because I have to process a huge load of shame and guilt and regret and other bad feelings, each and every time. I know I’ve probably made bad choices in the past, but since I can’t go back and change it, I can only go forward. And I need a lot of help to do that :)
Last word goes to LuvLee ~

Last update before this night owl heads off to bead: With the sale that came in late this evening, the housing need is down to $465. Almost halfway there — may it continue!
Many thanks to all who contributed, shared, commented, and especially to those who stood up the one commenter who got out of line, Your moral support and speaking up for me really means a lot to me <3

Late Saturday — early Sunday (like, 12:30 am) update: The numbers continue to fall: $420 needed for the house payment, and $50 for LuvLee’s medicine, still. But they’re going in the right direction! Many thanks to all who helped.
Also, fyi, I plan to do a follow-up diary on Monday.
