Brand new, kind of a samba beat. I’m not going so much for raucously funny as for nervous laughter, in the same vein as “Who’s Next?” by Tom Lehrer. I should have a recording up at my Patreon page by tomorrow.

Things changed in November,
But no one knew how much,
Since then we’ve dealt with lying, tweeting,
Russian spies, and such.
But now we’ve got a new threat,
Of nuke war going hot
And some say “Time to panic”
While others say it’s not.
Should I be scared?
Should I be scared?
To nothing this new world can be compared,
We’re dealing with a man-child who thinks he’s heaven-sent,
A brain-dead puffed up narcissist
-- and his opponent,
North Korea’s president.
One was born to power,
He’s got a million guards,
He had his family murdered,
It saves on birthday cards.
The other was born to money,
He spends a lot, it’s certain
His keeps his family close at hand --
They’re who he has the dirt on.
Should I be scared?
Should I be scared?
For this crisis we were simply not prepared,
Who could have thought a man who’s spent his life in shifting blame
Could make such huge mistakes and then decide
To keep doing the same?
The one has nuclear weapons,
Okay, they’re kinda small,
Still, would you rather be hit with one
Or not be hit at all?
The other has nuclear weapons,
And I think you’ve got the picture
This isn’t adult diplomacy,
It’s two guys waving Richards.
(Think about it. I’ll wait.)
So now the nation is nervous,
The world is watching agape,
As these two nuclear pinheads
Build a trap we can’t escape.
But both are masters of bluster,
They strut and brag like they breathe,
Is our cluck about to be fustered,
Or should we just let them seethe?
Should I be scared?
Should I be scared?
Our judgement here is severely impaired,
As these pasty tyrants go off on lie rants, the latest Twitter trend
Is whether or not to kiss your ass goodbye --
Let's not go for "when".
