This will be a short diary entry. Courtesy of the New York Times, I've discovered an illustrated blueprint for one of John McCain's McMansions.
Tony Auth, editorial cartoonist for the Philadelphia Inquirer, has somehow managed to capture the interior of one of John McCain's McMansions. Below is Tony's illustration. It is accurate, as far as we know.
Notice the length of the Average Joe Foyer. It runs the entire length of the building. What John considers average is truly magnificent in scope. Although one might be led to question why John has a foyer (a French term) instead of a hall or receiving room.
Off to the right, note that the swimming hole is heated. Why one would need a heated swimming hole in southern California or Arizona is beyond me. This particular addition indicates John's eccentricity.
Way off to the rear left of the building, note the "This Bud's For You Portfolio Den". Clearly this was Cindy's idea as nobody else in their right mind would voluntarily associate him/herself with Bud. Whether John spends any quality time here is unknown.
Finally the exterior buildings, the Swift Boathouse and the 14-car garage, are both indicators of John McCain's rise above his POW status. I bet you didn't think I would find a way to work that in, did you?
