The heat here over the past 8-10 days has been brutal—which really is saying something for the coast of Louisiana. But the inordinate temps aren’t confined to the Deep South. According to this morning’s data from NOAA, 23.1 million people in this country (7% of the population) live in areas that will experience heat in the danger or extreme danger zones. Europe has seen catastrophic levels of heat and the death toll is unprecedented. And records are being broken around the globe. Be safe out there—wherever you might be. Protect yourself, your pets, your plants, and those more vulnerable than you.
As for today’s featured bluegrass band, I’ve got give them kudos for covering a Cure song. Cheers all.
