Women for Bernie
Group founded by mahakali overdrive
Women for Bernie is a group created to push back against the sexist and minimizing meme that "only men support Sanders for President." We're here to say we exist AND we aren't a figment of our own imaginations, you cannot twist our words and say we support the patriarchy simply because we feel Sanders is the best candidate in the election, and no, not all Sanders supporters are "BernieBros" or "Bro-gressives." A lot of us are, in fact women -- and proudly so. --------------------------------------------------------------------- As a deeply inclusive, non-hierarchical collective, we are also highly diverse and range from 18-80 years old, African American, white, Latino, Asian, Native-American, more poor, middle class, more wealthy, blue collar, white collar, high school and college educated, straight and queer and trans, differently abled and differently bodied and also differently minded in all respects. We respect all women, our choices, and our many voices. -------------------------------------------Vivan las mujeres para Bernie Sanders!
