Dear Newdists, hope you all are well. Was DK down? Seemed to go on for days.. at least every time attempted a log on I wasn’t able to do so. I’m ecstatic that the amazing tech people were able to get it back and up again.

Google’s St. Patrick’s day confetti is cute.

It snowed on the morning after I arrived. It was very pretty. I’m hoping the thaw will be very slow so that there won’t be floods. The south is experiencing floods.

We’ve been watching movies every evening, after finishing assigned work. I’ve watched — Howl’s Moving Castle, Kingsman: The Secret Service, Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris, The Sleepover, Free Rein, The Beautiful Fantastic, and Birdy. I’m not the one piloting those movie selections, btw. Additionally, the movie watching is a treat in honor of my being here and is not a regular weekday event. And yes, there’s popcorn and ice cream.

I’ll leave another diary in queue, in case I’m late getting back.
