Welcome to what is the 1126th original profile here at “Fanatical Republican Extremist of the Day”, where we’ll be profiling Luis Miguel, a 2022 candidate for U.S. Senate from Florida, who pulled out of the race for that seat to instead take a crack at running for District 20 of the Florida House of Representatives, looking to unseat Democratic state representative Yvonne Hinson. Now, be it in the Senate, or the House of Representatives, or even just in the Florida House of Representatives, we have grave reservations about Luis Miguel reaching office.
The first being that he has repeatedly posted the Qanon motto on social media, and when the media started shutting down articles about the conspiracy theory in late 2020, he responded by saying, “If QAnon wasn’t problematic for the establishment, the social-media companies they control wouldn’t be banning it.” We will add here that it’s “problematic for the establishment”, but more importantly it’s “problematic for everyone living in reality because it’s bulls***.”
But we’ll also note that on social media, Luis Miguel has called for not just banning abortion, but punishing it at a capital crime (HOW VERY “PRO-LIFE” OF YOU TO WANT TO KILL THE WOMAN AFTER) and how he once wrote an opinion editorial where he looked at the modern state of politics and decided that a civil war between the red states and blue states was “inevitable”. Did we mention he wants everyone in jail for their role in the coup attempt where the Capitol Building got stormed on January 6th, 2021, released as “political prisoners”? Because, yeah, he led a rally to do that, claiming that the Jan. 6th attack was “false flag” created by the FBI. Also appearing with Miguel at that rally? At least a dozen members of the Proud Boys, including their de facto leader, Enrique Tarrio, who only didn’t participate in Donald Trump’s coup because he was in jail that day on another offense. Simply put… this is not someone who has any interest in participating in American government in any non-destructive capacity, and should be kept as far away from any seat of power, at any level, as possible.
