Spring is beautiful in Nashville this year. For the last couple of years, it has gone from winter temps of 40 and 50 degrees straight to 80 degrees. I don’t like that. I don’t mind the heat; under 80 and I need a little sweater, but I need to get used to it gradually.
That’s what we’re doing this year. We have 60’s in the day right now and then 40 or 50 at night. Mostly low 60’s too. Really lovely! Course, everything is in bloom which, for me, is not a fun part of spring.
I don‘t mind being allergic to dogs and cats, the joy they bring me outweighs the difficulty I have breathing when they are all sleeping in the bed with me. I find very little joy in the whites, pinks and purples outside and I find none in the green.
Blue is my colour and I’m pretty sure that I’m supposed to live someplace like this:
I don’t live someplace like that though...sigh. I live in Nashville where it looks like this right now:
And because it looks like this, I take a lot of allergy meds.
