I finally got around to watching the incredible takedown by John Oliver of Tucker, and his expose of how Tucker is dog whistling (though sort of obviously) white supremacist talking points.
But what struck me was this: while Tucker is losing advertisers, Fox Corp thinks it’s okay to EXPAND his pro-white supremacists reach by keeping the show and adding a podcast and documentaries! It most be that Tucker’s show is a loss leader — his show may not make much for Fox Corp, but is the tentpole that attracts the audience for the rest of the lineup.
Would it be okay to advertise on ABC if Disney allowed a show for white supremacists to persist on ESPN? While most boycotts are show-specific, I think in this case the battle must be expanded.
It’s time to tell all advertisers that their brands should not show on ANY Fox Corp-owned station while they choose to leave a white supremacist on the air. They are literally doing business with a company that supports white supremacy.
Here is the list of Fox Corp owned assets. Who’s with me? Watch the video and retweet this.
It's time for a Fox Corp-wide boycott for its support (and planned expansion) of Tucker Carlson's white supremacy. No advertiser should do business with a company that supports such outright racism.
