Exactly one year ago this week, candidate Donald Trump promised he would 'hire the best people' in his administration. We’ve seen time and time again what an absolute failure he’s been at delivering on that promise. He’s chosen one incompetent nincompoop after another, and today was no different. This time it’s White House economic adviser Stephen Moore, who joined Trump’s advisory team directly from the Heritage Foundation swamp.

Moore isn’t the only Republican who doesn’t seem to have any basic understanding of how insurance works:

Paul Ryan says insurance can't work if healthy must pay more to subsidize the sick. But this is exactly what happens in every employer plan.
