It has been difficult week. Nonetheless, we have much to look forward to as the Biden Administration begins to have a positive effect in the governing of our country. Still, I thought a little lightness was called for… Here is a short poem.
Bigfoot lives
In the minds
Of those who hope
There is a patch of land
Untouched, untrammeled
By the feet of men.
And this maybe true,
The world is large,
And even though we are
A restless, wandering, exploring species,
There maybe an acre or more
Of land
People have not walked.
As for the real Bigfoot,
He and his kin
Died off a while ago
Of endocrine cancer
Caused by Roundup
Or some other
Combination
Of the millions of
Man-made chemicals
That are!
Everywhere.
