Marco Rubio has become increasingly vocal on Twitter in an attempt to pressure election officials and drive a public relations narrative that the Florida vote count (and recount) should be stopped and Republicans declared the victors, even before all the absentee and military ballots are counted. Way to support the troops, right?

So, totally relatable, every man Marco Rubio pulls out his phone and tweets a football analogy relating to the Florida ballot count. An analogy that can only be described as a fumble.

Imagine if NFL team was trailing 24-22 but in final seconds hits a 3 pt kick to win. Then AFTER game lawyers for losing team get a judge to order rules changed so that last second field goals are only 1 point

Okay. So much going on here. Has Rubio ever watched a football game? A “3 pt kick” to win? Does he not know that is called a field goal? Changing the score after the game? Bruh, the game clock is still running and points are still going up on the board. His team is trying to walk off the field while the clock is still going and the other team has the ball. Look, not everyone is a sportsball fan and that is fine, but for the love, find another way. Needless to say, Twitter users slam dunked on Rubio.

More accurate question is what football game allows the player to ref his own game? Republicans Scott/Florida & Kemp/Georgia are both guilty of this BS!

Imagine if there was an NFL team where not all the points were counted. Imagine if they were told because they had kicked a field goal in a while they couldn't play anymore. Imagine if they were told that their touchdown didn't count because the signature didn't match.
