Today’s West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy Podcast for our especially special Daily Special, Smothered Benedict Wednesdays, is now available on the Spreaker Player!
Starting off in the Bistro Cafe, at this point, everybody expects Trump to appeal Merchan’s order that he attend Barron’s graduation.
Then, on the rest of the menu, the Southern Oregon coast is closer to building a floating offshore wind energy farm, capable of powering a million homes, after the Biden administration announced it’s preparing to accept proposals for the area; Tim Kennedy of New York is projected to win the special election for New York’s 26th Congressional District, temporarily shaving the GOP majority in the US House to one seat; and, an Alabama Senate committee voted to set aside money so that the state can reverse course and participate in a federal summer food program for low-income families with school-age children.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where the European Union said that it’s investigating Facebook and Instagram for not doing enough to protect users from foreign disinformation ahead of EU-wide elections; and, Serbia’s new government will include a former intelligence chief who has fostered close ties with Russia and is sanctioned by the United States.
All that and more, on West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy with Chef de Cuisine Justice Putnam.
