I always stay up for the Dixville Notch vote in New Hampshire. It’s a tiny town whose vote has no predictive value, but I just like to know we’ve won. And we did.
Hillary Rodham Clinton won.
I am writing that with shaky hands and tears. Today, we will elect our first woman President of the United States.
When I was in second grade, there were books handed out: “What I Want To Be.” The only women in these books were nurses and teachers. (And bless our nurses and teachers!) No little girl when I was a little girl ever thought that she could be President.
Except, perhaps, one.
Hillary Rodham Clinton has spent her entire life proving that women could do anything.
I am so proud to vote TODAY for Hillary Rodham Clinton for President of the United States!

VOTED! Not the only woman at our Northern Virginia location wearing a pantsuit. (Including my Mom.)
Checked my ballot about 10 times, cried, turned it in. What an amazing day!
