Short answer to this question? Yes.
So after much frustration over the current education funding debate in Kansas, I decided to replicate the 2006 education cost study statistical study, to answer some ongoing questions.
Specifically I looked to answer the question of whether increased education spending will continue to improve outcomes, and the answer appears to be yes (despite noisy data, and not as many years as used in the original study).
Other issues identified: kids in poverty continue to increase education costs (more expensive for the same outcome) and districts that can more easily raise funds due to higher property values continue to outspend property-poor districts.
