Put Zakaria's new show on CNN in the conservative column. Last weeks show featured Douglas Feith and Henry Kissinger. This week's show includes the dynamic duo of Michael O'Hanlon and Ken Pollack.
Of course, they promoted the idea that the Iraq War is going a lot better. They eagerly made the case that Obama and the Democrats need to change their position. But why wouldn't they say that? Pollack and O'Hanlon were Iraq War Cheerleaders and have staked their reputations on America "winning." They also insisted that Obama is naive in thinking he can remove a brigade a month toward eventual withdraw.
Fareed sought "balance" from Dexter Flinkins of The NY Times and Michael Ware, CNN's Baghdad Corespondent. Michael Ware was the most skeptical about the "improvements" in Iraq but all four agreed the Democrats position was outdated (two year ago) and that the US will need a long term presence in Iraq.
Zakaria follow up that winner of a segment by giving voice to a global warming skeptic, Bjorn Lomborg.
The conservatives have yet another voice on CNN. When are we going to get a progressive voice. I guess that'll be a quarter to never. CNN, corporate news for the right wing.
